Barron Co. ATV trails officially closed on Oct. 31. Gates have been closed and locked on our Narrow Gauge and Cedar Lake Trails.
The club's next Trail Maintenance Workday will be held Saturday, Dec. 2nd beginning at 8 a.m. at the clubhouse. We will be signing and prepping Snowmobile Trails. Our tractor and Defender will be scheduled to have their tracks installed in early to mid December.
The club's "Clothing Store" which is accessible through this website is having a Black Friday Sale with 20% off all orders over $50.
Our club will be sponsoring the AWSC float with "Miss Snowflake" for Rice Lake's Holiday Parade on Dec. 5.
The club recently purchased several "Traffic Cones" to replace some of the trail marking barrels on the lake. It was also noted that we are in need of signpost material. President Pete will contact Badger Steel.
The new 2024-25 County Trail Maps are now available, and members are distributing them to our map boxes. Also, the boxes are being updated with new $2 price stickers. Additional refurbished map boxes are now available in the clubhouse.
Final grading has been done on the Wild River Trail and snowmobile trail maintenance work has now begun.
The Indianhead Shrine Club has asked us to propose a couple of alternative dates for their approval, for our Summer ATV/SxS Pledge Ride for Childrens' Hospitals.
The club is planning to schedule "once-a-month" Thursday Evening Dinner Rides throughout the winter, by car or snowmobile.
Myron Anderson's name was drawn for the meeting's attendance raffle, and he was present to accept the attendance prize money.
