Tracked UTVs are NOT permitted on snowmobile trails (except to perform trail maintenance by club members).

B.C. Snowmobile Trails remain closed due to inadequate snow.
Our club has ordered 5 additional boxes of the new Barron County Trail Map.
A list of spring projects was discussed that will help use up our excess maintenance grant money... as a result of this winter's shortened grooming season (again!).
The used tractor we purchased was delivered by the seller and has been checked over at Baribeau Implement. It was decided to accept Russell's offer to store our groomer tractor over the summer months & the club will review imbursement options at a later date. Storage for the drag still need to be found.
The 2026 County Raffle currently will only involve 3 clubs: Rice Lake, Chetek and Cumberland so it's estimating each club's share of expenses will amount to $7036. Each club is encouraged to donate one additional $500 prize plus at least one $250 prize.
NEW BUSINESS:
Dennis C reported that Thank You letters and addressed envelopes are ready to be sent to 64 landowners and 4 groomers as soon as the gift certificates are available from the printer (any day now).
Dennis also received a notice that the fee to host our website will increase about 220% to $319.31 for a 3-year renewal, and that our current plan is no longer available. The club agreed to purchase a new plan within the same hosting company (so as to not have to create a whole new website), and change to an annual payment fee of $143.64 +tax.
Dennis Stillwell's name was drawn for our "Attendance Raffle" but wasn't in attendance to accept his prize.
Our next club meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 24th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.
